The Lucatelli family has been in the hospitality industry for over 40 years. Giuliano Lucatelli came to Ithaca, NY in 1952 from Carpineto, Romano, Italy. In the early 1960's, Giuliano started a pizzeria called Big Jim's Carry Out. In 1967, he opened the original Italian Carry Out, and in 1984, he opened Lucatelli's Ristorante with his family.

To this day, Lucatelli's Ristorante is still family owned and operated, with the third generation of Lucatellis bringing you fine Italian dining in Ithaca, NY.

Lucatelli's prides itself on serving delicious homemade Italian favorites including a wide variety of pastas made on the premises, as well as numerous Italian specialties such as our famous homemade Gnocchi Lunghi - using the original recipe from Giuliano's home town of Carpineto.

Our menu also includes a wide variety of Prime Ribs, broiled steaks, fresh chops, veal and seafood dishes. Start your meal with our unlimited Antipasto salad bar with homemade Italian soups made fresh daily - and make sure to bring your appetite because the portions are bountiful!

To compliment your meal, Lucatelli's offers a wide selection of domestic and imported wines from around the world, as well as homemade Italian desserts such as Canoli's, Tiramisu, Ricotta Cheesecake, Spumoni and more. After dinner, relax with a wonderful array of Espresso and Cappuccino Coffees.
